      Hectic management stumbling to keep up with great product

      Pros

      They have easily the best product in the market when it comes to property management software. Many of the employees are great to work with. Some teams get great perks (free food, gym passes, free movies, massages, etc.).

      Cons

      Missed product launches, upheavals in leadership and product lines, heavy-handed management. These make it a difficult place to operate because you can never really plan for what's going to happen three months from now. It makes everyone generally stressed out and unpleasant to work with. Feedback on employee performance is not transparent at all.

      Not Perfect, But Great Company

      Pros

      Property Solutions cares about it's people, and customers. They don't appear to be in it for a quick buck. They never raised venture capital and want to grow this company into a billion dollar+ revenue business. Decisions are made from a long-term perspective. Revenue growth has been insane over the last 5 years, and continues to climb. Free food, lunches, tons of social activities, pretty darn good benefits, 401K, etc. They threw a crazy dodge ball party last year to break the world record for the largest dodge ball game. 4000 people showed. It was bonkers. The company has great values, and they try to do the right thing. Amazingly cool people every where you look. If you work your can off, you'll get noticed and promoted quickly.

      Cons

      Sometimes it feels like we're driving down a dirt road going 80 mph, so there's a lot of bumping and rattling--although I personally enjoy that. Some people don't. While this is improving, things still aren't always planned out as well as they could be. Product dev moves quickly, but probably too quickly. This causes client services and customers avoidable stress.

      Pros

      Any department out of the CEO's reach is actually pretty awesome with lots of great people and tons of potential/autonomy.

      Cons

      Anything within management's reach is destroyed with non-existent goals, contradicting expectations and a nepotistic atmosphere towards those who flatter management. I would have rather received any kind of bonus (even $20) over a lavish Christmas party where all employees must sit with their spouses and listen/watch management stroke each others egos with awards and gifts.
