It's easy to get hired even for idiots, they pay for your class D security license, and it's an easy job to learn.

Cons

There is a real lack of direction from management and no consistent training for the job. Honestly, I don't even see the point to the job because it doesn't provide any real security, at best a crime would be caught on camera.

Pros

They pay for your licensing if you are there up to 6 months. Like everything else in life, it's a learning experience.

Cons

Depending on when you were hired, you have to be there 3-6 months for them to pay for your licensing. You can't trust the management. It's a negative working environment.
