Pros

Teams are collaborative, leadership solicits feedback and takes the time to put action around it. Growing company with lots of opportunity to make an impact.

Cons

As with any growing company, not all processes are well defined but employees are given an opportunity to provide input.

Pros

Great and intelligent people work here just poorly paid.

Cons

The compensation here is horrible. Executives aren’t competitive with pay. G&A is extremely over worked and any raise has to go through the CFO. If the CFO doesn’t approve your manager will just say that it wasn’t and try to low ball you. Bonuses are non-existent. The CEO is out of touch with G&A and surely has no clue on how much they get paid.

Pros

There's been a few reviews of late that, in my opinion, are extremely unfair to DI. I proudly worked at DI for 8 years, both in the Austin and Houston offices, in a number of sales and sales leadership roles. I can say that my time and experience there was nothing short of exceptional. In reading some of the other recent reviews, I wish some of those folks had taken their grievances to leadership instead of leveraging platforms like Glassdoor. If you want to be part of a great team and great company that's growing rapidly (and yes, there are challenges that come with growth), DI is a great company to grow your career. From the individual contributors that were on my teams all the way up to the C-Suite, I was consistently thankful for the quality of those around me. DI might not be for everyone, and that's okay. If you are humble, aren't afraid to work hard, and like a challenge - it might be for you. Sales isn't easy, and we don't hand out participation medals. Even after leaving DI, I trust that the leadership team will continue to grow and improve, and will always look out for the employees that work so hard to make the company great.

Cons

DI is growing, rapidly. Growth isn't always easy, but there's always opportunity. It can be hard to get time with leadership, not because they don't care, but because they are trying to run the company as best they can. My experience is that if I was thoughtful in my approach, made an attempt to solve the problem myself first, made a realistic ask of their time, and came well prepared to have the discussion needed, finding time wasn't an issue.

Reading your experience with a smile as there are people like you who I have been in the trenches but have done it in the spirit of collaboration and fun. It isn't always easy and in fact, it's sometimes pretty tough. But with greatness comes challenge and those who have had amazing experience have known this is the path. And we have shouldered that together. What gets me excited to come to work every day is first -- the people. The highest quality, smartest, best "have your back" team in my 30 (hate to admit it) year career. I learn something every day which is both challenging and rewarding. When I have a tough day, I pack my best backpack and utility belt and engage my superpowers. And so so all the great people... sharing experiences and common goals with pride.
