      government job = a lot of red tape, not as fast paced as one may hope for but definitely not hard to get used to since it is outweighed by so many positives.

      Teleworked through the first 2 years under a good section supervisor, had no issues with Maxiflex schedule i.e. flexible hours, new administration and updated union policies which make it easier to collectively bargain for better benefits

      Cons

      Lots of brain drain with folks retiring or moving to remote work and not being accessible to employees working in-office, very uninspiring and dull physical office space
