      Pros

      I worked at the EPA on a temporary contract (two years) and I found it to be an a great place to work in with some amazing people. Like any federal government agency, there were old school folks who plugged along waiting for retirement but overall I found the EPA dynamic and vibrant.

      Some stereotypical federal government slowpokes.

      Horrible managers who bully you pass chemicals through, then change your reports anyway. Terrible work life balance.
