      I learned a lot about how the government operates. There are plenty of opportunities within the EPA for many different focus areas.

      I really have no cons, except for the difficulty to find employment without an inside track

      -Good people, interesting work that is always changing and challenging -Lots of training opportunities (internal and external)

      -Your long-term happiness depends on your boss (I've had mostly good ones) -Not a lot of lateral move opportunities (career ladders are set in stone almost) -Avoid the driftwood and focus on advancing your skills and career
