Pros

- They'll put you through a ton of valuable training without needing experience. - Pay is somewhat competitive, raises+bonuses are generous if you're willing to put in hours and play the people game a little. - Get to solve interesting, challenging problems. - Quick path to managerial roles if you're interested. - People are, for the most part, great. - Great, cheap healthcare, standard 401k match. - Fantastic food.

Cons

- Something of an old-school culture: benefits are somewhat lacking in places (no parental leave, max out at 15 days of vacation/year) - Inflexible working environment: no remote work allowed (despite applicable roles), only US office is in Verona, expectation for 9-5ish hours while also working after hours infrequently but regularly. - Dependency on human processes and old-school management style (butts-in-seat approach to productivity monitoring). - Workload can get heavy, fast, 50+ hours is common if you want to advance. - Non-compete is restrictive, working primarily on proprietary technology means it goes a long way to inhibit growth.
