Pros

I truly enjoy working at Epic because of the autonomy I've enjoyed from day 1 to own my projects and to increase my responsibilities quickly after proving that I'm doing a good job with them. There are other straightforward reasons to work at Epic - awesome campus and food, capable coworkers, sabbatical program - but at the core of your daily work is whether you enjoy working towards your goals. Being in an environment where you can trust others and not be micromanaged is a key to potential happiness.

Cons

Integration Engineer compensation can be lower than other comparable roles at Epic, depending on your area of focus - project management and software development both get paid more in general.

Pros

* You generally work with excellent people who care about their job * The food and perks are excellent, including an office (no cubicle farms here!)

Cons

* There is a steep learning curve - as long as you ask for help (which is provided when you need it!) you'll do fine.
