Pros

Very good training. You can join and not know anything about the job and be fully trained quickly and effectively which sets you up for future jobs in the department.

Cons

1. Local hires from international offices are looked down upon and will be stopped from progressing at Epic since “we do not understand epic culture” due to not being based on the campus. 2. Disability accommodations are often ignored despite Dr letters and will take months of pestering HR to get the slightest response. 3. Pay increase is based on a ranking within you team and there is no chance for discussion on this (highest pay increase on the team didn’t even cover cost of living increase in UK). 4. Local hires are paid much less in comparison to Americans who relocate and work in the same office. We are also offered less benefits than the American employees.
