Pros

- Salary, raises, promotions - Very Good health insurance, 401k - Good travel perks - Internal people for the most part are good and fun to work with - Interesting/ fast paced work - You get a good industry understanding relatively quickly - Sabbatical (if you make it to five years)

Cons

- Long hours ( they pay you what they anticipate you to work) - High turnover leading to a lot of lost knowledge and difficulty managing projects - At the mercy of the customer most of the time. - No WFH - Constant escalations - this gets old very fast and you get burnt out due to everything always being "on fire" - Very political both on the customer side and internally. - Feedback culture can significantly impact you and your rankings - UM is unwilling to listen to employees - Limited time off allowed
