Pros
Fair pay, in the top quarter of the market. Reasonable expectations from management. Coworkers are knowledgeable and friendly. Wide variety of projects and technologies to work on. Although it is a large-ish company with many locations, it runs more like several distinct businesses under one umbrella. Experiences will vary vastly business to business and department to department. There is a good core of employees that have been at this location for many years. They generally cheerful and competent. There are also many temporary workers that 'ramp up and down' frequently. Their experiences will be a bit different. The group I am in is stable, respectful, and good at what they do.
Cons
Every year or so there is a round of layoffs. It can be a little nerve wracking wondering if it'll be you this time. There is a lot of churn in other departments. Parking at this location can to tough. When business is booming the break rooms can get pretty crowded at lunch time.
