Pros

Work 40 hours, get paid for 40 hours (see 'Cons') Advantage = You! Learn from others mistakes. Remember there are likely other contract houses you can go to for the same job opening -- find the other contract houses!

Cons

Epitec holidays do not equal company holidays -- you only get paid for Epitec holidays. Do your own math, as annual pay in offer letter is intentionally misleading (news flash -- no one works 2080 hours in a calendar year). Do your own due diligence on everything (above is just 1 example of deceipt). Remember what your account manager looks like when you interview -- that will be the last time you ever talk or meet. Pay raise only if bill rate increases (in other words, never). Top Company management are proof it doesn't take an education to start a small business. Company is below average in terms of consultant compensation and benefits.

Pros

Not a whole lot.. They like to get their employees drunk, then drive themselves home.. Not sure if that's a good thing. Working with the Recruiters is fun, but everyone else is out to get you.

Cons

The upper-management is more concerned with what is on glassdoor then actually doing their own job... Maybe if they spent just as much time trying to improve the work place then it would not be quite as horrific to work at Epitec.

Pros

Lots of free food, events with free food. Incentives if you can reach your goals. They have some fun ones like digital items and shopping gift cards, as well as cash incentives. Fellow recruiters are easy to get along with and easy to form bonds. Kick off party was fun. Benefits- not great, but at least its offered.

Cons

There's a reason why they hire only recent graduates or people with less than a year of experience. You don't know what a real work environment is, so you think Epitec's environment is how a work environment is. Trust me it's not. Working at a professional place now this place is a joke. I was there for over a year and saw at LEAST 70+ people come and go, including managers. Benefits- package is very weak compared to what other companies have to offer, in terms of medical and 401k. UNPROFFESIONAL- Managers try to be young and "hip" and like to drop f-bombs. They also like to cuss at employees through emails as well. Also, will fire you on the spot if you try to give a two week notice. No such thing. Will NOT write anyone a letter of recommendation, will only confirm you worked there. Fake/awful environment- Just like all the other reviews, everyone is always on edge about being fired or "let go". Honestly that's the worst part. Do you want to work for a place and put in 110% and still fear being fired for not meeting a goal one month or making one false step? It's even more stressful when you have bills to pay! No growth (both for the company and career wise)-company is always bragging about how they are growing, but the number of recruiters always stay the same. After you start off as a recruiter, you can some an account manager, and then what? Theres not enough accounts or business to do much else. Free food- was a few lbs heavier while i was there. PS-Epitec does not care about you or your career, they want to cut costs and deepen their pockets.
