Pros

lots of food, happy hours, and activities..to keep the employees happy!

Cons

You never know when you or your friends are going to get fired. They hire 12-15 recruiters at a time and within a month's time, half of them are gone.

Pros

lots of incentives, commissions add up quick, monthly bonuses, company parties, lots of booze, occasionally they let you out early in the summer, free food.

Cons

constant fear of being fired, a different friend quits every week, management is constantly gossiping, 2 weeks notice is not a concept, you are basically setup for success/failure depending what team they arbitrarily assign you to, if you do not fit in with their culture they will sack you, most of upper managements' professional experience is limited to only epitec and none of them hold advanced degrees.

Pros

Epitec is known for all of the little "extras" they provide employees. These include: -Tigers Tickets -Red Wings Suite Tickets -Happy Hours -Free Food (more on that later) -Extremely attractive office space In addition to this, Epitec offers pretty good benefits and good compensation straight out of college. Without a doubt, this is a great place to start. Their training program is extensive and will show you the ropes of recruiting. Just make sure you move on after a maximum of 6 months.

Cons

Here are some of the many Cons of working here: -Micro-Management to the extreme. Your phone calls, e-mails, internet usage, how many times you go to the bathroom is all tracked. Seriously, one day I wasn't feeling very well and my Sales Manager asked me why I was going to the bathroom so much and was clearly annoyed. -You will get hired in with 12 or so people. By Month 4, over half of them will have been fired. Epitec routinely "cleans house" and lets people go for mostly no reason. I personally was not fired, however almost every day at work I wondered if it was going to be my last week there. -No work/life balance. They claim you will only work 8-5, but that isn't the case. If you leave by 5 you will be scoffed at for being a "Fiver." This also likely adds to your list of reasons of why you will ultimately be terminated. Also, Epitec routinely brings in food for lunches. At first, it seems like a nice gesture. That is until you are belittled for choosing to eat said food in their lunch room as opposed to eating at your desk. They expect 100% work, absolutely no breaks. -Seniority means nothing. I watched a high ranking manager who had been with them since the beginning get escorted off the premises and nobody was given a concrete reason why. You are not a person here. You either do what they want and perform at a high level every second of every day or good bye blue sky.
