Pros

I cannot think of any pros at this time.

Cons

Number 1, they write fake reviews on here so please be aware of that. The CSO and COO reviews are true but their experience at Epitec is entirely different than the "genius finders" and delivery leads. Epitec is a panzi scheme. They bring you in at a low pay, work you hard (in a dysfunctional environment none the less) and then they let you go when they feel like turning the staff over, not paying you your bonus or commission, or because you decide to have a baby or do not fit the 21-25 year old age mark they are looking for. The leadership team is extremely childish and love to be in the mix of the drama. They will take you to court if you leave and go to a competitor. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS! DO not work here if you want to go on and work in another staffing environment. Another red flag is they bring in training teams of 10-15 people every other week and yet the company is 100 people or less. Please put the pieces together, it's because they are constantly letting people go. Please do not be discouraged, recruiting is a FUN job and not all staffing companies are like Epitec, you can go on to be a successful recruiter elsewhere and the environment can be SO much better. So, if they walk you out in front of the whole office (yes, they do this) please find some kind of comfort in knowing that all staffing companies are not this way.

Pros

Beautiful Office! Besides that, my favorite day at Epitec is the day I submitted my resignation letter.

Cons

Epitec is Toxic! Toxic! TOXIC! Recruiting is suppose to be a profession where lots of vibrant and outgoing people are provided a platform where their hard work and competitive nature shines. Well that's NOT the case at Epitec. This place is Toxic because management makes it toxic. Loyalty? Forget about it; they will fire people without any explanation at any given time. Goal Expectation? Unrealistic and by unrealistic I mean unrealistic. Work/Life Balance? Does NOT exist; they like hiring recent grads because they assume you don't have other responsibilities and that 24/7 of your time should be dedicated to providing service to Epitec. Pay? To be honest you can make more money in Collection/Call center environment (at least those positions offer paid overtime) but because Epitec is salary-based, you work more hours and get payed less. Commission? the structure of the commission sucks! Promotion? Not awarded based on performance; awarded based on favoritism. If you do get promoted, you'll be an account manager or as they like to call it "Delivery Lead" without any upward mobility for a very long time. Management: Stop trying to trick the new recruiters just be direct. They might be recent grads but they are not stupid. Sooner or later they will see through the fakeness when what you say doesn't add up to the reality of what Epitec really is.

Pros

This company genuinely wants to help you succeed, but you have to want to as well. They take the time out to train their new employees and have an experienced manager available during training to answer any and all questions. After training you are place on a team where everyone wants you to do well as this reflects on the teams account manager. They make sure you are understanding what you are working on and check in to make sure you are doing well. The system they put in place works well, and there is wonderful incentive programs to keep you motivated. Plus there is frequently free food, and beer breaks, as well as some company outings and a great holiday party.

Cons

There is a high turnover rate. Recruiting is not for everyone, if you are not able to do the job they will not keep you around. As for people quitting it is similar, they do not enjoy recruiting. Most of the new hires are fresh out of college and for a lot of them it is the first experience in an office environment working these type of hours.
