Pros

- Relatively laid back - Coworkers are friendly and helpful, the team works really well together.

Cons

- Management is disconnected from reality, with unbelievable expectations relative to the product the company has. - Bonus is never awarded, so don't count on ever getting it. - Benefits could be a lot better. - Your recognition will be a pat on the back.

Pros

Remote work offers flexibility. Some teams allow for good work-life balance.

Cons

TLDR: - Compensation is significantly below market average, with minimal or no annual raises. - Promotions are rare and there's little opportunity for career progression. - The bonus structure is ineffective: goals are unrealistic, team targets are poorly aligned, and no bonuses have been paid in recent years. - High turnover, including within management, reflects a lack of employee engagement and satisfaction. - Hiring strategies prioritize low-cost labor from developing countries over retaining experienced talent, which affects continuity and product quality. The company pays significantly below market standards. Raises, when they happen, are often below inflation. This results in high employee churn, including among management. Rather than addressing these issues, the company opts to hire in lower-income countries where wages are easier to suppress. Even then, because the roles are remote, many of those employees quickly find better jobs elsewhere. The bonus program is poorly designed. In the last three years, no bonuses were paid at all. The system offers $1000 per year, contingent on hitting extremely ambitious and arbitrary growth targets set by leadership. Most of the employees has no direct influence over these targets, making the system unfair. These are essentially goals for the sales team, yet everyone is told to just “push harder” to achieve them. Unsurprisingly, most employees no longer take the program seriously. There's a general disconnect between leadership’s expectations and the actual work being done. If you're lucky, you'll land on a team that lets you maintain a reasonable work-life balance but it will still be a low-paying role with little pride, no growth, and no long-term prospects. This is only acceptable for someone starting their first job or looking for short-term work between roles. Many of the positive reviews here seem to come from people in those situations. Overall, the company's actions suggests that leadership is more focused on short-term numbers, possibly an exit plan in preparation for an IPO, than building a sustainable business.
