Pros

Good people; good benefits; flexible time; average pay

Cons

Overpromises to clients results in teams putting in vast amounts of overtime to try to deliver. Usually results in a disaster that has to be maintained at great effort (more overtime).

Pros

Smart people Current products perform pretty well Still a strong reputation in industry Decent incentive pay plan for sales

Cons

Still a long way to go with integrating acquired companies Separate/different cultures depending on which business unit or acquired company you work with Upper management has 'favorites', if you're not one of them, good luck advancing to a higher level Lack of new or innovative products means the rest of the industry is very soon going to pass you by

Pros

Depending on the client team, the environment tends to be flexible whether you want to work from home or work remotely. Good place to start.

Cons

Works you like a work-horse. A lot of hours and very tedious work. Management is very disorganized and cliquey.
