Pros

Paid week off for Christmas Work life balance - at least in my department The people in my department are great There is a lot of flexibility when it comes to your personal life

Cons

This is not the place to go to at all for career growth. In fact, if you want to even learn new things about your chosen career this is also not the place to go. Everyone is very micro-managed including the managers themselves. They are not allowed to make simple decisions on their departments, such as hiring their own candidate. Those candidates have to interview with their boss and a number of others. It's sad really. If you are an hourly employee everything you do will be scrutinized. You won't even be able to send out an email without having to get your managers feedback on what that email should say. There's is absolutely no creative thinking here because they nip that the second you walk in the door. They say they want suggestions or improvements but as soon as you bring something up they get defensive and tell you why they thought of it 20 years ago. The atmosphere and tools we use feel like it's 1993 everyday. There are people in certain job positions that would never make it in another company because they don't do half of what the job really is.
