Great culture, engaging work, terrible hours
Pros
Out of all my years of working, I've never come across a place that has a better culture than Equity Methods. Most of the people are very nice and are willing to help teach you if you're lacking knowledge in any area. The work itself is also very engaging and keeps you interested in the work you do.
Cons
The problem with Equity Methods is the hours are awful, and on top of that only some of the employees actually show appreciation for the hard work you put in. I remember working four straight weeks of over 60 hours and I never heard a single thank you (the lack of appreciation is the main reason I looked for a job elsewhere). On an hourly basis, I actually made more at my prior job even though moving to Equity Methods was a 50% salary increase for me.
