Pros

Smart people, market leader, entrepreneurial environment inside a big bank. Has the Bank of America Merrill Lynch name and backing which helps your resume.

Cons

Disorganized. Not a lot of upward mobility unless you look towards Bank of America / Merrill Lynch for career progression. Too many employees have the attitude that they need to constantly prove their worth - like a kid who was tormented in high school lashing out. Not a fun place to be. Not enough out-of-work activities between employees. Work-a-holic bosses who dish out low pay yet expect the same 60 hours a week from employees. Spineless management cannot fill open reqs when desperately needed, so they just give excuse after excuse. Senior managers fear their bosses, which limits their effectiveness.
