      Pay and employee discount on housing could be better

We recently increased employee discounts on housing from the standard 20%- in some areas. Chat with your manager about the rent discount in your market and also about any questions you have regarding pay. According to our market research we’re extremely competitive in regards to compensation and benefits. Again, thank you for your review and keep up the good work!

      Pros

      Equity is a fun company work for. For those who don't know much about Sales, Customer service, Equity Residential has an awesome training program.

      Cons

      No matter how great you are, no matter your sales expertise or your customer service expertise, Equity Residential will still hire someone less knowledgeable, immature, and less experienced for a Manager position.

      Pros

      Equity is very good at multi-family real estate. They have the resources to help you succeed in your job and leaders of the company are strong.

      Cons

      Your work will never be done but if you don't mind having piles of it to work through then this is a great company for you.
