Pros

It was MUCH better when we were in 2 locations. Some coworkers were positive.

Cons

MORE cons than pros -- all based on culture. Management will flipflop on every issue. They will single out one employee to make the others "fall in line". You can only get a raise or promotion if you're kissing up. I spent a lot of time fixing people's mistakes and doing my job. Hard, negative management and HR.

Pros

Reimbursed for gas mileage and understanding supervisors. Granted I was an employee at the old building, not the new one. My team and supervisors were my family. I loved going to work and being around everyone. I was young and working a fitted paid position for my age and experience but look to have what I had there at Equity in my new career. Every day was like living and episode of The Office and I wouldn't trade my time there or memories for anything.

Cons

None that I can think of during my time there.

Pros

The biggest pro to working for ETC was developing relationships with co-workers that is sure to last a lifetime. While not everyone took pride in their work, there were some pretty talented people employed at ETC and it made working there tolerable to some degree. Another advantage was you continuously learned something new when it came to investing through a self directed IRA.

Cons

The work can be stressful and burn an individual out especially when not given the tools needed to perform their daily tasks. If one department is short staffed, they pull people from other departments which takes them away from their work. Time is not given to catch up on your tasks. Management NEVER steps in to assist.
