The benefits are really good. I can work from home occasionally if I need to and no one cares when I come in as long as I get my work done.

Cons

Still really top heavy in management and poorly skilled. Managers squeeze your hours, you have to charge everything to a network number and expect you to pass a very difficult technical certification every year yet give you no network number for studying/training. It has to be on your own time. Highly technical people are undervalued while people who have friends in high places are promoted with inferior qualifications.
