Pros

Company culture, benefits, and people are fantastic.

Cons

IT culture is about silos, contract labor, dumbed-down technology, and traditional bureaucratic thinking. Middle management is a massive bottleneck with no vision or strategy for anything. They possess no technical skills yet are tasked with managing technical people and making technical decisions.

Pros

Good first and second level bosses. Good teams, work isn’t bad.

Cons

Higher management is manipulated by HR & Board for sticking to a dying model. The personal touch is a few generations out of touch and they’re also moving to low code platforms causing dependancies on technologies that they cannot control.
