      Pros

      a lot of positions are remote, good benefits, and depending on your position, you are able to work very independently. However, on the flip side other positions are extremely micro-managed.

      Cons

      workload can be extreme and sometimes just getting basic responses from management is like pulling teeth.

      Company itself is okay, but systems are archaic which makes it harder to do your job

      Employees are nice and helpful

      Cons

      Management seems out of touch, and so are their salaries. Adjusters are overworked and understaffed. They took away holidays that all other insurance companies have, like the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, etc..what a way to boost morale!

      Good place to be in Erie

      Pros

      Good work life balance. Pleasant facilities. Co-workers are supportive. Recently there has been some action in cleaning up the old school managers who refused to change.

      Cons

      Not a lot of room for advancement. Managers tend to play favorites for promotions. A lot of politics in a culture where families have worked for decades.
