Pros

Excellent benefits and salary. It can be a great place to work but it depends on what division and department you work in

Cons

No work life balance in IT. Erie insurance should be the #1 priority in your life. That was the message that we were given during our Crux Point training in 2015. Then they started with hiring our heroes and decided if you do not have military experience or know the right people you will not advance or will be pushed out. I worked there happily for 13 years then spent the last 2 years miserable and missing family trips and events because I was expected to work remotely during off hours, holidays, and while on vacation. I became unbearable. Human Resources was no help.

Pros

From the moment you step in the doorway, you're greeted and given mutual respect. Here you're free to explore your options and grow as a professional. They place people first and the culture really compliments that.

Cons

Human Resources can sometimes cause issues. Big control on salaries, benefits, culture.
