      Okay Experience but not great for long term

      Pros

      -Opportunities to learn from various teams and customers are amazing. -Esri values education and opportunities to grow. -Stable business -Health benefits are really good. -Great customers and partners

      Cons

      Depending on the team: -Too many manual processes and antiquated communication. It could take weeks for certain projects to progress because of approvals and unnecessary meetings. -Pay is way too low with the cost of living. The amount of work being asked does not always equal the pay deserved. Merit increase does not help with the cost of living increases. -Authentic support from management varies. I had managers with the best intentions lack proper guidance on how to lead and support their teams. -DEI efforts could use some work. I feel Esri is just trying to check a box and does the bare minimum. -Unclear career path or opportunities. Be mindful of what team you join because internal transfers could take up to a year. -Nepotism and office politics have been an issue and career blockers (again, depending on the team).

      Pros

      Bank time. Salary employees are paid hourly and afforded the opportunity to bank hours at the end of a pay period (for any hours worked over the base hours of that pay period) or take the additional pay. Compamy culture is amazing. I feel like my values are well represented in this organization.
