      Stable company in a highly competitive environment

      Pros

      Stable company with no debt. Company provided benefits along with 401K match. In comparison to other truck lines this company does not micro manage its employees.

      Cons

      Low pay scale. Limited upside potential. Poor response by corporate on problem resolution. Company employees are required to perform too many tasks with little or no training. Company seems to have poor vision of where it wants to go in the future. New services are added without adequate training while core services suffer from under performance. Limited input from employees on setting goals.

      Pros

      As far as freight companies go it's all around top notch! I had the best experience. A personal matter took me out of state and had to resign.

      Pros

      Allows to to work as hard as you want within the limits of the DOT. If you think trucking is a 9/5 job please dont apply. We work long hours and my experience with the Estes family has been that they will work as hard as we do to make our customers experience a good one also. But you can't please everyone as they may already have a bad attitude anyway?

      Cons

      If you think you want to move up the ladder expect to work harder and for less money as the only asset that makes money is your worker bees that show up everyday and enjoy what we do. Even Mr Estes himself doesn't make the kind of money anyone would expect for a world wide company. Its my opinion that he doesn't expect it. The family is too humble to believe they need more than the people that get out everyday and do the job we get paid to do.
