Pros

Etsy provides good benefits and recognizes that employees need to be healthy and happy to do well in their jobs. They almost always made reasonable accommodations, trained their managers well, and kept salaries at market level- even for long term employees.

Cons

Like any company, they are in the business of making money. There can be a level of toxic positivity when leaders talk about the mission statement, but no more so than most companies.

Best Place I've ever worked

Pros

Etsy is the most human place I've ever worked. There's a culture of kindness and respect. It's a great combination of fast paced and dynamic with a inclusive and supportive environment.

Cons

Sometimes things can to be too process heavy, like the answer to a problem to layer a process on top of a process. Etsy has a culture of constant improvement, which is great, but constant change can be a little unsettling.
