Pros

The people make Etsy, both the employees and the members are golden. A values driven company with some growing pains I hope will be overcome.

Cons

Current growing pains are painful for those affected.

Great parental leave (6 months). There used to be great opportunity for movement and growth.

Declining company culture. Mass layoffs. Straying from values.

Pros

Great website for home based companies to sell hand made products.

Cons

Etsy couldn't care less about its sellers. We ran an extremely successful shop grossing over $500,000 in revenue and our shop got shut down in a matter of a month because of a few unhappy customers despite our 5 star reviews and myriads of repeat customers. Don't waste your time, they don't care about you.
