Pros

Etsy truly nurtures growth and invests in its employees. If you show interest and initiative in a particular area, they’re more than willing to create opportunities tailored to your strengths and passions

Cons

The process of implementing changes can sometimes take longer than expected. Patience and persistence are key!

Great company, but uncertain about it's future

Pros

Amazing benefits, onsites, company culture, food, smart colleagues, etc. If you want to have a very social work environment this is the company for you. Also, if you have a family or need a good work life balance Etsy is good for that too.

Cons

While Etsy offers great benefits, I'm not sure I will stay there in the long-term. It seems that the direction of the company is constantly changing. Maybe it's because tech as an industry is not doing as well as it did during the pandemic. While I think Etsy is great, I also am not confident in its future and am not sure there are many opportunities for career growth within the company.
