Good people in lab, corporate is questionable

Pros

There are good people in the lab who care about doing a good job. Onsite management does a good job of showing appreciation for a job well done.

Cons

The lab is greatly understaffed and group morale and data quality are beginning to suffer as a result. New testing platforms have been introduced and more instruments are in production, but the number of people in the lab is smaller than before. And the workload was heavy before!

It is a job, albeit limited and horrifying.

Cons

Management is incompetent and refuses to listen to employees suggestions or critique. Management who fail to listen get promoted because their own management is incompetent, essentially a cycle of scum. They will promise you great things and "a great company to work for" but getting inside you will quickly realize the bait and switch. Pay is the worst in the industry. If you have any other offer take it and don't look back. This is the worst company I have ever seen in my entire career and I urge any clients looking at this company to go elsewhere for scientific studies. The equipment is outdated, the procedures are bogus, nobody is trained properly and they will cut any employee who questions management decisions or offers advice.
