Pros

None. No advancement opportunity. Ethics and quality should be the cornerstones of a business but have been pushed to the side for profit margins which are shrinking.

Cons

Pay. Management. ETHICS! Ethics capitalized for Eurofins STA does not possess any. Their SOPs are all out of date. There is no training. I had to rely on my previous experience in order to perform my job. Management has no guidance or direction. They miss positive samples sent into them for confirmation. Eurofins is a last resort for employment. Good to keep your head above water for pay but bad for a career. There is no motivation from higher ups and lower ranking employees. Once again good if you just want to collect a paycheck. Future applicants need not apply.

Pros

good place to get some lab experience and have a job with benefits. Depending on what you want from the job, you can advance up the ladder. That is, if you start off in the right department, put in alot of years and know the top managers. The company tries to build a sense of culture by having parties here and there, but not everyone shows up and its like going to an awkward potluck party where people are in groups.

Cons

This laboratory was bought by Eurofins not to long ago, so the company is still going through some changes. That said, most of the top Managers are long time friends and/or have worked there for over 15 years. This sounds ideal for those who believe in committed employees who stay for many years in the company, but in this case, the top managers at this location all have bad attitudes and think that yelling and screaming at their employees will help train them to do a better job next time. Training was promised at the interview, but I never received good quality training to do my job. In this lab, you learn by getting yelled at, blamed for or mistakes you fix yourself without much guidance. I hope this changes with they all retire.

Worst Company!!!

Pros

There really are not any in my eyes.....

Cons

Where can I start - I was hired as a Paralegal and thought that they would train me for the job duties that they would want me to perform. NO! There was no training and when I asked questions they told me that the information "was out there." I than asked about training for the position and they stated flat out that they did not have the time. I have never worked at a company that did not help their newer employees and flat out refused to help and train. I would not refer my worst enemy to this company!!!!
