Cons
Very few PTO hours for anyone who hasn't been there for 5 years or more. The work load is unreasonable and unmanageable. Over-worked, under-paid. Nightshift has a much smaller staff and you will be left with whatever day shift leaves, plus what you receive. They are always under-staffed. You will end up working more holidays if you work nights. You must be adaptable enough for the cliques, especially dayshift. This is a great job if you are able to clone yourself and be in 5 places at once and are not human. There is one guy who is a bully and if he doesn't like you, he will treat you like dirt. Constant training. Most lab staff must work at least one weekend day. If there is a blizzard, you are expected to be at work but management is not.
