- Euronet Software has two products. One is a legacy product built on 40 year-old technology (IBM iSeries). The other product is built on newer platforms, but is marketed with claims that the product doesn't support: this caused constant problems for us in development when customers would expect a feature that was described by sales. - Some employees spend FAR too much time working - losing control of their personal lives and getting burned out. This isn't celebrated, but it isn't discouraged. At times it is expected. (One person actually goes to work on Sundays. I asked him why once and he said, "it just makes Mondays easier".) - Some senior managers have no personal life, and they expect that you won't either. Developers are constantly asked to work into the night or weekends. This should be a red flag for Leaders; unfortunately they have many Managers but few Leaders. - Euronet Software makes most of its money from hidden fees charged to unsuspecting foreign ATM users. I was never able to shake the disgusting feeling I would get knowing that I worked for a company that does that. - Even though I was assured in my interview that they conducted regular professional development, I never witnessed any. The closest they come is a subscription to Udemy (and that's only available to a certain number of employees). - They have no corporate mission, vision, or values. This causes confusion, misunderstanding, misdirection, and misrepresentation.
