Disappointed Former Employee

Pros

Goal oriented company looking to grow and expand.

Cons

Poor management throughout with unrealistic goals that have no understanding what it actually takes to get things accomplished the right way leads to tension and dissatisfaction among the employees. The benefits were okay, not as great as they are made out to be. Offered basic low health care coverage. You are fine as long as nothing serious happened to you or your family members. Pay was always low and compensated with profit-sharing. Profit-sharing was nice when business was good, not so much when it wasn't. Raises are pretty much set, not based on merit or job performance and not everyone performed at the same level but based on a budget. Negotiating was never accepted. Advancement in the company was an illusion. It seemed that only family and people close to management would get promotions, even when they were under-qualified for the position. ESOP is offered as a retirement plan. This is great for the people that were with the company during all the major growth. For new employees, its hard to see how they will experience that same growth over the same time period.

Absolutely horrible.

Pros

Not very many that I can think of. Cheap insurance profit sharing was nice to get. Some co workers were good.

Cons

Where do I begin. Pay is terrible and takes forever to get to a decent livable wage. Insurance is cheap but good however I made so little that I actually qualified for food stamps and Medicaid. Was promised a certain starting wage but was way way less. People I work with are horribly grumpy. It’s gets really old. Training was terrible for me as well as a ton of others. If the lead likes you they will help you and train you if not your screwed. The profit sharing barely makes the yearly salary worth while. Mandatory overtime was horrible expect to work 50 plus hours a week. They lie about some benefits and when they start. They always push to get units out but the top can’t order parts and get prints down in time so we actually have time to do things. Very short staffed in assembly.

Hard to See a Future Here

Pros

The benefits were pretty good and the people were mostly helpful.

Cons

The salary was low for the work required and the work structure was archaic. Trying to work here during COVID-19 was a logistical nightmare. Bouncing back and forth between working from home and not being able to work from home (because "we work better when we're together") was exhausting.
