Pros

I was very leery to take the job because of all of the reviews saying that in order to meet your quota, you will be working late nights and weekends, 60-70 hours a week, that there is absolutely no work life balance, and that the workplace is toxic with managers yelling at you if you make mistakes. That the AI does not work at all. There were simply so many of these reviews echoing the same complaints that I was sure that this job was going to be horrible. This has not been the case at all in my experience. I feel like the quota is attainable in 30-35 hours of work a week. The AI works quite well. And the culture here (maybe it's just my manager) is really great. I have not been yelled at or been overworked. If you are a reasonably intelligent individual, you should be able to do this job. Free healthcare Remote work I'm rating this as a 4 instead of a 3 to partially counteract all the very low reviews which I feel are undeserved and not representative of my experience at this company

Cons

Lowish pay. Probably not a lot of career advancement in this position. Repetitive work, but it is kind of fun / interesting. Some of the reviewers are a little over-the-top, so that can be annoying. I have had a few medical record summarization dreams since starting

A Great Company in HyperGrowth

Pros

- This company has built a product with incredible product market fit that has allowed it to grow at an incredible pace - We've been able to attract world-class talent across functions making this a great place to learn - At this moment in tech there's a lot of startups doing layoffs, in cash conservation mode or trying to figure out how to stay around, we're very fortunate to be investing heavily in growth and product innovation. - We're actually mission driven. Yes some personal attorney ads may be a a bit cheesy, but at the end of the day, we're helping people often at one of the most difficult moments in their lives and we get a front row seat to see the results that we can get for them.

Cons

- We work hard. I don't know if that's a "con" so much as something anyone considering a role here should no. This is not a place to rest and vest or think you can sign off at 3 pm everyday. - I mentioned it's a great place to learn, a lot of that learning will be by doing. We don't have a lot of formalized learning and development. - Maybe the most common note on glassdoor but we're a startup so yes there's chaos. When you grow > 3X in a year, things break.
