Larry Gilbert is an inspiring CEO. He'll challenge you to go above and beyond, to go forward with courage, and he cares about his people, partners and patrons! Competitive pay, flexible hours, stores are operated in fun locations, and autonomy in our roles. Company tries to rollout contests, motivation, prizes thru a peer elected culture council. There is a lot of freedom to speak with different departments and people without having to go thru a regional or middle person. If I need to talk to a buyer, I can simply pick up the phone.
Cons
It can be difficult to move "up". Company needs to work on training programs. It's up to store teams (managers) to rollout company contests or new policies. That can be not done as well as it should.
