We are very sorry to receive feedback of this kind. We appreciate your years of service with us. We approach our team members and partnerships with a deep sense of gratitude and humility – most especially in the difficult year we faced as an organization and as an industry given the pandemic. We understand that when changes occur, it can be difficult. Nevertheless, we hear you. Wishing you a good experience in your next endeavor.

Pros

Diverse company, values health and wellness through company-wide initiatives, promotes from within

Cons

There are bad apples in the executive team. Being a Store Director was extremely stressful and thankless, but I understand that is because of my direct leadership. My particular VP only cared about the numbers, not the people. If you do not speak up and ask for help, you are left in the dust or exploited. I was not properly transitioned into my role due to cutting costs.

Thank you for your feedback and for being part of the Event Network family for many years. Our Store Directors are the heart of each retail destination, and are regarded as Superheroes for all that you do! Feeling supported, heard, and valued is central to how we operate, as an organization that very much appreciates and champions our people. As part of our family for so long, we’re upset to learn that your transition to Store Director didn’t match the positive experiences of other Store Directors. We would like to learn more about your feedback, and ask that you email the People and Services team at peopleservices@eventnetwork.com. We are listening and take these replies to heart. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback! Our people will always be the heart and soul of our company, including our amazing Accounting Team who are central to our daily operations! Thank you, sincerely, for all that you do. The Store Support Center in San Diego feels a little different with fewer staff than pre-Covid days… but we do plan to scale in-step as the industry finds its new normal. Thanks for acknowledging our offices. Our People and Culture team work hard to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for those who prefer to work from the office. We feel especially lucky to be able to enjoy the large outdoor space and gardens at our Store Support Center, and that view!
