Pros

Great ground floor team members

Cons

Too many to list here. Once evercommerce took over our small company everything went downhill. Wages remained stagnant, coworkers we had for years left, benefits decreased. They took everything good about my job and ruined it within the period of a year. Terrible management of once a good business. Don't listen to the 5 star reviews, they are from corporate level. Hr "asks" people to give good reviews and checks to make sure they are done.

Pros

Free lunches once a week

Cons

My story is similar to many of the others here: EverCommerce bought out the business I worked for and proceeded to destroy the work culture as well as most of what made the company unique and pleasant to work for. Some of my coworkers were fortunate enough to get out early. EverCommerce's lack of transparency and sometimes outright lying to employees made it difficult to discern how stable our positions in the company truly were. As an employee not in management, I was treated like a drone (and paid like one) by upper management while I was expected to singlehandedly complete the work formerly executed by a team of five people, which had included a director. Everyone who had originally worked for the company was let go by EverCommerce, although we had been outright told by upper management that our jobs were "as secure as they have ever been." Some of my coworkers were then expected to train their replacements in what seemed similar to a hostage situation. Furthermore, I later discovered a contractor I had been highly encouraged to prioritize working with (at the expense of cutting off work with skilled, loyal contractors our company had been working with for years) was a close family member of the same EverCommerce director who passed down those orders to me. The discovery of this nepotism was disappointing, but not surprising.
