Pros

Great culture. Trust that employees do their work and put in the time. Everyone I met with was super nice.

Cons

Completely disorganized. They acquired too many businesses all at once. Now they’re struggling to unify the brand. It’s a lot of chaos and no one is hitting their targets. Leadership isn’t clear on how to achieved their goals. They’re bringing in people only to let them go a month later.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at EverCommerce. We value all feedback as it helps us to improve and grow as a company. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated our culture and the trust we place in our people. We strive to foster a positive and supportive environment, and it's encouraging to know that you found our team to be welcoming and friendly. However, we are sorry to hear about your negative experiences when onboarding and off-boarding. In line with our value of "Be Kind", we aim to always treat people with respect and kindness, and be gentle and caring in our delivery of business decisions. In this case it seems like we fell short of that expectation. We are committed to learning from this and making necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for all our people. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. We wish you the very best with your future endeavors.

Pros

Good health and dental benefits with a yearly wellness allowance which is cool.

Cons

If you are not a part of the Denver OGs then you feel it. Feels like the executive leadership is learning as they go and just reciting words they read in a business leadership book vs actually leading the company into the future. They canceled the Christmas gathering for everyone, then secretly had a party for only those in the Denver area then did nothing for the the rest of the company. No gifts, nada. Not even a Christmas card. This and on more than one occasion it felt like if you weren't in Denver you basically were ignored by the executive team. Operations and processes are a mess and a nightmare. It takes 20+ steps, 5 approvers and even more contributors to get one small thing done like a blog post. Budgets take forever to get approved. We didn't have our 2023 budgets fully approved until March 2023... Depending on your politics..they are about as woke as you can get, and they really force it down your throat.

The team have worked hard to listen and apply an offering that support our people the most. In line with our value "Value Diversity, Create Belonging" we are conscious about creating an inclusive culture, regardless of location. You experience is concerning to us and is not how we want people to feel. We would love to discuss your concerns with you in more detail so that we are better able to form a solution. Falls Short in All Areas

Pros

Flex Time (PTO) is easy to take when needed. A goal for DEIB. Coworkers are usually a dream to work with.

Cons

Falls short everywhere for a tech company. Pay is far from equal across the organization for people who do the same exact job. The same applies to benefit options. The only good benefit is Unlimited PTO, but it's also known that companies who implement this practice see employees take less. Sr Management seems to be in their own world, thinking everything is roses. They never listen when a concern is expressed, and when the bomb they have been warned about constantly goes off, they stress you to fix it quickly. This company buys out other smaller software companies with the thought of making them bigger and better, but they make them worse.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad you are able to enjoy our "Flexibility with Accountability" value through our FTO policy. We are proud of what we have been able to achieve against our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy this year. There is immense opportunity ahead of us and many talented and passionate people involved, ensuring we will create a culture of true belonging. Some of the experiences you have noted are concerning to us and we would like the opportunities to understand these better in order to form a solution for you. We would encourage you to reach out to the People Team at peopleteam@evercommerce.com and we can discuss further. Thank you again for your feedback.
