Thank you for taking the time to give us this valuable feedback. We agree that the people here are terrific, and that we have an amazing community to work in. Your concerns about resident safety is one of the reasons we love having you, and people just like you, as a part of our team. We all need to bring our expertise and professionalism with us each day so we can improve upon the last. Our community is home for our older adults and so we always have to balance their safety with their desire to move about and be comfortable where they live. Closing off areas to them may be easier said than done, but it does get us thinking. Have you had a chance to participate in a QAPI huddle? These team meetings are for anyone to join from any department and help us raise concerns and solve problems together as a team. You would be a welcome addition!
