Pros

Management is very approachable. The environment is welcoming. Clients for the most part are very nice.

Cons

There are none. The only reason I left was because I found something closer to home.

Pros

The residents are absolute gems. They are the only reason I stayed as long as I did was because of them. The pay is decent and you'll be able to get the necessary smaller certifications and training if hired.

Cons

Many of the nurses do not monitor the residents during the meals - it's left to the dining staff to do a large part of their jobs while they sit on their phones so the residents don't suffer, as well as complete their own assigned duties. Safety of the staff (LHV employs minors) AND residents is not taken into consideration when the administration goes over incidents of concern taken to HR. I advise for your safety, do NOT work here.

We encourage all employees to speak with their manager, a member of the leadership team, or HR if they have any concerns. We also offer a safety and ethics action line for 24-hour, confidential reporting.
