Pros

Better than average work environment (outside of your cubicle), people are overall friendly, managers treat employees not as their subjects and tend not to micromanage. You work pretty much independently, which is nice. 401K match good. Culture is good and getting better

Cons

For the workload, the compensation is substandard. Also, workload between accounts is uneven. Some accounts are very busy and workers stressed, while others are going through the motions and not challenged as much, for the same amount of pay. Advancement in company very limited

Pros

Peers are fun to work with and the work is always new and interesting. You will work with many different departments, stakeholders, and people.

Cons

No chance for vertical or horizontal advancement. You are rewarded for hard work and achievement by getting more work (often taken from poorer employees and given to "strong players"). Small raises and bonus' given (bonus' average getting one every 2 or 3 years and can often be less than $100). Chances are good that you will be smarter, more knowledgeable, and a better employee than your boss.
