Pros

No need to think outside of the box.

Cons

Lots of favoritism. No job growth. Many in the same position for years without training. “Management by intimidation” by VPs who have been there since day one of their careers. No telecommuting (even during bad weather.)

Worst Management I ever worked for.

Pros

Absolutely NO pros or anything worth saying about working here.

Cons

Management has there favorite employees, they can do wrong. Don't even try and voice your opinion regarding work related issues, you will get terminated for doing so. If you don't meet goals set by management you will be terminated unless they like you or are one of their favorites then you are ok. I have been in the industry for 30 years at several very large companies, this by far has to be the worst to work for.

Pros

Benefits are ok, pretty standard package for a large corporation I think. There are managers that get a bit fired up sometimes but most of the time the senior folks are polite to their subordinates. Employees are encouraged to seek solutions to problems and look for new business opportunities, which are both big positives.

Cons

Lack of organization exists in many departments. Communication within departments and from one department to another is often quite poor. Many employees lack clarity as to where they are going with their careers. Really stinks that the company does not offer stock at a discount or some way of encouraging employees to acquire shares. At the rate at which my 3% contribution & 3% match for 401K is growing I think that I will retire at 121 years of age.
