Don't stay longer than a year

Pros

You learn structure and work ethic because they engrain it into you, so any other company you go to next you'll be the hardest worker in the room

Cons

All they care is about hitting the company/office numbers each week. Military style work place. If you don't get good clients, GOOD LUCK as an account manager. You will get judged for not hitting your goals even though you are assigned clients - its not all about work ethic, its about margin, if the client has needs, if there is a lot of competition, all these things make a HUGE difference on whether you'll be successful or not, but the company could care less because all they care about is expand their business and their name, not about you and your earnings. Did I mention their base is 36k on the West Coast. After taxes, you're making less than 30k. Meanwhile you're driving all over the city, paying the toll bridge, etc It should be illegal to pay people so little and expect so much out of them. The environment is not healthy at all. If you don't value a healthy environment and don't mind being broke for 2 years, then maybe you'll like it. Also, there is no work life balance and management always talks about how Apex is a lifestyle not a job.

Pros

Solid benefits including a good car reimbursement and Cell phone expense, good people to work with. For Account Managers you aren’t micromanaged

Cons

Limited market, base pay/ comp not as great as other area rivals. A lot of Life Sciences leadership has left for Apex Systems managers, which is was fine personally for me but some people struggled with the conflicting leadership paths

Pros

None they started put good but when bad

Cons

There pay is less; you can be out on the street homeless they won't help you they have a sorry policy when it comes to time entry it is flawed. They don't pay on time and they are mean staff is lazy and they have bad attitudes
