Pros

Coworkers and atmosphere are friendly and laidback. You can be flexible with the hours you work.

Cons

The overall management is very poor. Management has no plan on how to get you up to speed. Manager often doesn’t know what your working on or how you are doing. They do a bad job of assigning tasks to new employees and don’t help you much when you need some help.

Pros

Note: ive been teleworking since beginning this position in 3/2020, and have never been to any ECS office or met any ECS employees in person -decent benefits (I guess? first real job with real benefits, so idk really) -fairly simple timekeeping req's -mgmt pretty much stays out of the way and lets me work with my team at the client agency -HR and supporting staff has been helpful when I needed them

Cons

-Tried to lowball me on initial offer ("your stated salary requirement for the position in Olympia WA is enough for this position in LA, right?") -My "interview" was them telling me about the position that was mine to accept, which was neat but the communication felt incomplete and the hiring process a little rushed -so few interactions with ECS personnel to balance the timesheet reminders, it sometimes feels like I'm a cog in their machine more than an employee

Pros

They luck out on getting their talent by acquisition.

Cons

Horrible at communication. High deductible heath plans. All plans cost a lot out of pocket. Took over a contract and our entire company saw ZERO pay increase (right when our annual was supposed to occur) No room for advancement. No interaction with actual ECS staff. I have been though several contract changes but ECS by far has been the most unprofessional and unorganized in my 15 years in this business. I loved my particular job but ECS has pushed me to hate being under their thumb, thus losing a great employee and disrupting the workflow with their client. The core mission is nothing but words on a page to ECS.
