Pros

Offers excellent benefits and time off. My manager supports me with my work/life balance and the company is doing well in these changing times.

Cons

We aren't growing and I don't know how to move up here.

Pros

Good place to work if you want to work in a fast-paced environment and rapidly learn. Benefits included compensation for pursuing certifications and overall good pay for the area (relative to the position's requirements).

Cons

Constantly battled with management. My team's manager micro-managed us often, had little trust in our team's output despite clients constantly providing overwhelmingly positive feedback, and overall extremely toxic and ostracized specific team members openly; this is supposedly the norm based on several other teams I spoke with. Benefits are pretty stringent (little time-off, sick-days and vacation days are bundled together, little bereavement, etc.). Requirements were constantly changing and projects rarely had clear direction. Many projects often lacked any semblance of industry-standards—we were often developing and pushing code in production without any oversight, Q&A, or testing, and delivery expectations were built around this.

Pros

Supportive team culture Meaningful and interesting work Remote work Regular hours

Cons

Health benefits not the best Vacation benefits including holiday time off could be better Salary Lots of talk of helping workers grow, but the business case for meaningfully increasing and promoting consultants and increasing their compensation in a way commensurate with the value they add is lacking.

Pros

A job opportunity for those who need it for their resume, but not for referrals

Cons

I initially joined the company as a contractor but was transitioned to a full-time employee within six months. Everything went smoothly until I experienced a medical issue that required time off. Upon returning to work, I noticed a significant shift in my supervisor's attitude. They began to question my competence and created obstacles that hindered my ability to succeed in a role I had previously performed well in. The situation escalated when I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for a minor incident during a Zoom meeting where I briefly turned off my camera to blow my nose. Management then portrayed me as incapable of performing my job duties, citing my recent medical issue as a factor. I later discovered that my supervisor was collaborating with a relative in HR to facilitate my termination. This conflict of interest raises concerns about the fairness and objectivity of the process. Overall, my experience transformed from positive to negative following my medical leave, culminating in what I believe to be an unjust termination. Not for people of diverse backgrounds

Pros

Lots of growth opportunities. Each division is different so if you want to move around, you could find yourself in a completely different division which has a completely different work ethic and style that better suits you.

Cons

Much of the leadership recruited from former Stanley/CGI relationships but they aren't always the right fit. Be nice to recruit more internally. Changes to benefits made that weren't communicated with enough time and many employees were not fairly compensated for these changes.

ECS ROCKS!

Pros

ECS is phenomenal! From the initial interview, to today. I have had so many opportunities, professionally, and personally. I am truly grateful for all the support ECS has given me. I started on a help desk, after 20+ years, had management show me there was more to life, and helped me find my next steps, 4 positions later I am now coding full time for different teams, loving the raise and time allowances, just overall the best choice I ever made! I actually have created a future, and see me staying with ECS until I retire in the future!

Cons

I honestly, for the first time in my career, don't have any cons.

Horrible Government Contractor that will be out of business soon

Pros

Remote work and happy hours

Cons

Incompetence is rampant at the management level. The company will continue to lose opportunities on new work and recompetes. If you are looking for a long term gig, look elsewhere. Could be a good place to work, but the environment, management, communication, and teamwork could be vastly improved. For a place which says it has a hard time finding people to fill positions, they don't respect the ones they do hire and they have a very high turnover. Some of the people were nice to work with, and it could be a good place to work if they didn't have a culture of denigrating members of other teams, that breeds frustration and eventually hostility between groups. Communication is definitely lacking.
