The upper level management have a hard time planning more than a week ahead. This causes a lot of headaches and lost contracts.

The company's growth has resulted in a messy and ad hoc organizational structure - resulting in inefficiencies, division, and some lack of accountability. I was warned by my predecessor to watch out for my manager. Horror stories were shared and my experience lived up to that. My coworkers were talked down to by this manager frequently during meetings, as if they were less than and brainless. This managers attitude was toxic and far from professional. Company culture can be marketed/branded at the higher level, but your experience is ultimately determined by that of the team you are on and division you are in. There are, however, others in the company that are rockstars, delivering high quality work. These people are talented! Bottom line, you want to fully understand the team you would join and where they fit into the company structure/plug into the client. It will be the difference between having a made a good career choice or one that you maybe would've rather passed on.
