Pros

Great working relationships, flat organizational structure that allows your to operate quickly and with student's interests at heart, financially stable, strong benefits package, culture challenges you to make quality decisions and maximize your time so that you are effect in your role. Team dynamic is required for the university to be successful. Not an operation that thrives on siloed operations.

Cons

Flat organizational structure can lead to micromanagement and limited voice at times. Requires an investment in relationship building to offset and course correct. Future growth opportunities are currently limited due to size.

Pros

The pros of working here are the people you meet.

Cons

While you may have been hired to do one thing, at some point all positions are required to stop what they were hired for to do Admissions calls to get old students to come back to school. You even get written up if you do not make a certain amount of dials per hour. I did not know part of my responsibilities were going to include sales and a heavy volume of outbound calls. Also, you will never be approved to take more than 5 consecutive days off for a vacation. So if you like to take long vacations, that will not happen here. There are black out periods every single month (a new set of students start every month). Typically, the first two weeks of every month you cannot take time off. You must work 12-hour shifts once a month (the first day of the start, 8:30a to 8:00pm). Lastly, they force employees to go on job websites like this to give positive reviews and then you have to send them proof of what you said.
