Pros

They were pretty decent for a giant grey corporate employer. They supported work from home for years prior to covid, even had ~40% of the total work force working full time from home. Other than the work at home situation, the company is a relatively safe corporate option, compensation is decent, work pace isn't as hectic as in tech or finance, the IT department, specifically, is great to their staff.

Cons

Yet another company doing return to office, and giving the same braindead "collaboration" MBA-speak reasoning. As with other companies doing this, it paints a giant red sign saying "we absolutely do not value our employees, they are purely a business expense, to be used the same as property or equipment."

Pros

I'm still thinking about it... My managers and assistant managers have been pretty decent folks to work with. My work life balance is stable.

Cons

Micro manager by department heads. You have to track your time, by clicking a button, which details the type of activities you are doing throughout your work day. The only time you are not working is during your lunch time. Otherwise any activities that they don't consider valuable counts against your metrics. For example if you a documenting a clinical note and hour or two after you talk to a client is considered non-valuable work. Sometimes your are so busy that you cannot complete documentation before your contact ends and have to add the note later. Completing required trainings are considered non-value. The time you are taking for required trainings and meetings count against your productivity/metrics. Your metrics is what your bonus and merit increase is based on.

Pros

Remote work and good benefits

Cons

Every second of every day is watched by this company. You have to plan restroom breaks around your schedule because they will know when you step away from your computer and will punish you for it via reviews. Training is confusing and turnover is ALARMING. Also forget about requests to use your own PTO. It is rarely approved and you will be guilted by your manager for even having the gall to request your own time off. Flexibility is a complete lie that’s is told to you in your interview so be AWARE !
